PAPÚUL is the result of my love for Mexican culture, paper and of course parties!
When I had to plan my daughter’s sixth birthday, a piñata was a must. A party is not a party without a piñata! and I finally had enough space to do a traditional whacking. My daughter requested Totoro piñata which was impossible to find, so I had to make it happen. I decided to make my first piñata.
I fell in love with cartoneria (paper mache art) and started to learn more about the art, like traditional techniques, uses in the Mexican artisan work, and how current materials have been applied to this craft throughout the years. This is how PAPUUL was created.

How It Works
Tell us your piñata ideas
Fill up the order form and let us know what kind of piñata would you like us to built; design colours and size.
Orders need to be made at least 15 days in advance.
We send you a proposal
We reply within 2-3 days with a sketch and quote for the piñata.
After approval, we start building!
You are ready to party!
You’ll have your piñata in 10 days or less, depending on the design and size.
